Editorial policy
How the original article archive is preserved, how future content is reviewed, and how editorial pages stay separate from the store.
Editorial purpose
CheatsGaming publishes an article archive about game cheats, features, scripts, tools, updates, and product comparisons. The site interface is English; archived articles remain in their original language.
Imported archive policy
- The visible article text, headings, lists, quotes, links, image order, captions, author, and original publication date are preserved from the supplied Medium export.
- Each article receives a new self-referencing CheatsGaming canonical URL and a new CheatsGaming Open Graph image.
- The original Medium URL and export checksums are retained internally as provenance, not published as the page canonical.
- Imported source text is locked in the CMS so a preview or social-image change cannot silently rewrite the article.
What new CheatsGaming articles must show
- A headline and description that directly name the game and cheat topic.
- A publication date and a revised date when material changes are made.
- A distinction between observed facts, technical interpretation, and seller claims.
- Known limitations and a clear statement that no unofficial tool is guaranteed safe or undetectable.
Sources and testing
Editors should prefer official patch notes, first-party policies, directly observed interfaces, reproducible checks, and clearly attributed primary material. Anonymous claims and status badges are treated as claims, not proof.
A guide may explain how a category works at a useful level without distributing malware, stolen credentials, or instructions designed to compromise another person’s system.
Corrections and updates
Imported source text stays intact. Future CheatsGaming articles may receive material corrections with a visible revision date and editor note. Readers can report a factual issue to [email protected].
Commercial separation
Shop listings, affiliate relationships, sponsorships, and paid placement must be labelled. Commercial availability does not determine homepage prominence or editorial conclusions. A seller cannot purchase an ‘undetected’, ‘safe’, or ‘best’ verdict.
