Melonity vs Umbrella: Comparison of the most popular Dota cheats
At the end of 2026, the Dota 2 cheat market has two major players: Melonity.gg and Umbrella. Both have been around for quite some time, with a bunch of scripts and a free trial period.
I tested both hacks, combed through forums like infocheats, and here is my brief verdict: Melonity is a premium option for the most comfortable, safe, and beautiful gaming experience, while Umbrella is a budget option for people who are not worried about their account.
I compiled a list of criteria against which I tested each product, and you can read the results for each of them below in this article.
Safety
Security is key. Both bypass VAC, and there are no mass bans in 2025. But Melonity wins with its humanizer (hides cheating, makes the game more “human”), daily updates with protection, and low risk of getting banned or caught cheating, even on 10k+ accounts.
Umbrella relies on changing HWID (useful for multi-accounts), but without a strong humanizer, it is noticeable that you are using a cheat, and infocheats writes about reports for obvious dodging.
Additionally, I will note that the last ban wave was about a year ago, and umbrella was the only cheat that got detected.

Scripts
Melonity boasts over 200 scripts created with the help of professional players: full auto-combos on all heroes (Invoker procast, Meepo auto-swap, Arc Warden clone spam). The best MapHack on the market: 3D models of enemies in fog, respawn timers, ESP for XP, illusions, couriers, drops. Jungle AFK Bot gives you 800+ gold per minute passively, auto dodge saves you from any camp faster than you can blink. Plus API for custom scripts, Meta Picker during hero selection, OBS bypass for streamers, Dota Plus unlock, and skin changer.
Umbrella promises 500+ features (mostly basic), HWID spoof for smurfing, auto-last hit and dodger work, but the combos on heroes are very simple, without logic, and MapHack is inferior in detail.
An important note here is that Melonity introduces newer and more interesting features, and only then do the Umbrella developers copy them. This was the case with MetaPicker, the map hack for couriers, and the way it is displayed.

Design
Of course, everyone makes their own choice here, so I won’t specifically focus on the interface design. But I will note Melonity’s concept, which adds additional assistant interfaces so they fit into Dota’s design. In this regard, Melonity handles the panorama much better.

Prices
Melonity:

Result
As I described at the very beginning, Melonity is a more premium solution for people who don’t want to worry about their account and want to play comfortably.
You can download and try Melonity via this link to their website.
Umbrella is a cheaper option, but it’s also less well-made. Honestly, the price difference between them isn’t that big, and it doesn’t reflect the gap in quality between the two cheats. Share your thoughts in the comments; I’d love to hear them.
