How to install cheats/scripts & hacks for Dota 2 free?
Hello everyone, you are reading the second short article from my small series called “How to?”. In this series, I briefly and concisely answer questions that arise among Dota 2 & CS2 players in the form of instructions.
Today’s topic is installing scripts and cheats for Dota. I’m sure that at least once in your life you’ve wanted to try them out, and today I’ll tell you how to do it.

If you don’t know what cheats are, what they do, and what advantages they give (trust me, it’s less obvious and much more interesting than you think), I recommend visiting my profile and reading other articles on this topic, where you will find complete information about them.
Instructions for installing the Melonity.gg cheat
As an example of software, I cite Melonity, because this project is the most popular, reliable, and technologically advanced cheat for Dota in the entire industry.
Let’s move on to the installation itself:
- Go to melonity.gg.
- Register an account or log in to an existing one. After registering a new account, you will automatically receive a free trial period of 5 or 10 days when registering via a referral link.
- Before installing the launcher, it is recommended to disable your antivirus for it to work correctly (Windows antivirus complains because of the new secure method of injection into the game, but don’t worry, not all antivirus programs complain about the program, and Melonity has been on the market for over 10 years).
- Go to the Windows Defender Security Center. You can do this by double-clicking the defender icon in the notification area at the bottom right and selecting “Open,” or by going to Settings — Updates & Security — Windows Defender — “Open Windows Defender Security Center” button.
- Disable “Real-time protection,” “Cloud protection,” “Automatic sample submission,” and “Anti-spoofing.”
- Return to the website and click on the “Download launcher” button on the main profile page.
- After downloading the launcher, you need to place it in the system drive directory. For example: C:\Melonity
- Next, launch the launcher file and wait for all files to download, then log in to your account and click the “Start Playing” button.
After starting the game, please wait until it has fully launched and the scripts have loaded.
